Membership Engagement Committee
This committee aims to provide strategic direction on overall membership engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies. Committee members act as ambassadors for the GKCC and advise the Chamber on optimal member experience through communications and digital strategies with the goal of recruiting new membership.
Chamber Golf Classic Committee
This committee works closely with Chamber staff in the planning, execution, and evaluation of the Annual Chamber Golf Classic with the objective of meeting or exceeding budget targets and providing opportunities for member advertising and networking. Committee members advise and provide input on operational details, marketing plans, and securing sponsors, players, and volunteers.
Advocacy Committee
The Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce advocates for business in the greater Kingston region by monitoring the policy landscape and identifying, evaluating, and recommending opportunities for action. This committee aims to maintain the strategic framework for the GKCC’s advocacy work as per the Chamber’s current strategic plan.
Kingston Business Awards Committee
The Annual Kingston Business Awards provide opportunities to recognize and celebrate Kingston-area businesses and generate a positive profile for the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce and the business community. This committee works with Chamber staff in the planning, execution, and evaluation of the KBAs with the objective of meeting or exceeding budget targets, while remaining aligned with the Chamber’s strategic plan.
